📋 Overview

King Cobra ("the Game", "we", "us") is a mobile arcade snake game. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

By playing King Cobra you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Game.

📦 Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Nickname — a display name you choose when submitting a score to the global leaderboard. This is publicly visible alongside your score.
Scores & game stats — your high scores and snake length submitted to the leaderboard. These are publicly visible.

Information Collected Automatically

Anonymous player ID — a randomly generated identifier stored only on your device to track your personal high score locally.
Purchase receipts — processed securely by Apple or Google and RevenueCat to verify in-app purchases. We do not store payment card details.
Device platform — iOS or Android, used only to configure the correct in-app purchase flow.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Your real name, email address, or phone number
Your precise location or GPS data
Your contacts, camera, or microphone
Any data from other apps on your device

🔧 How We Use Your Information

Display your nickname and score on the global leaderboard
Verify and restore in-app purchases you have made
Store your personal high score locally on your device
Improve game balance and fix bugs

We do not use your data for advertising profiling or behavioural tracking.

🤝 Third-Party Services

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and verify entitlements. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts on our behalf. Please review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details on their data practices.

Apple App Store / Google Play

All payments are processed by Apple or Google depending on your platform. We never see your payment card details. Each platform's own privacy policy governs payment data.

Leaderboard Server

Leaderboard data (nickname + score) is stored on our secure server. This data is publicly accessible via the in-game leaderboard and is not linked to any personal identity beyond the nickname you choose.

📢 Advertising

King Cobra may display interstitial advertisements between games. These ads are basic and do not use behavioural tracking or profiling. Purchasing the Remove Ads in-app purchase permanently removes all advertisements.

👤 Your Rights

Delete leaderboard data — visit king-cobra.uk/delete-my-data or contact us and we will remove your nickname, scores, and country from our leaderboard.
Restore purchases — use the "Restore Purchases" button in the Shop screen at any time.
Local data — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data (player ID, high score, skin preference) from your device.

👶 Children's Privacy

King Cobra is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
